Essay on Fascism using 4 documents
Causes of Fascism
The rise of Hitler in Germany and Mussolini in Italy did not happen by accident! There were clear causes that led to these leaders rising to power, and the creation of fascist governments in these countries. The same thing can be said for the rise of Stalin as the leader of communist Soviet Union. Today we will be looking at Fascist Government and its causes as Europe was approaching World War II.
Writing Exercise
What caused the rise of fascist governments in Germany and Italy in the years immediately following World War I?
• Be sure to highlight at least 3 major concrete historical details
• Be sure to include at least 2 Totalitarian leaders.
• Be sure to specify at least 2 events for each leader.
* Be sure to incorporate information from at least 4 documents
• Explain how the rise of fascism in Europe may have led to further conflict?
